DANE·POLLARD

Ceremony & cocktail hour

Weddings

Your ceremony is the part of the day everyone goes quiet for. I bring one voice and one guitar to fill that quiet: warm, unhurried, and listened to, not just playing in the background.

I play ceremonies and cocktail hours only. Once it’s time to clear the floor and dance, I’ll hand things off to your DJ or band. I’m happy to recommend one.

Package one

Ceremony

from $450

  • Prelude set while guests find their seats (~20–30 min)
  • Your chosen song for the processional
  • A recessional to send you out
  • A mic for your officiant and readers, run through my PA (the mic stays by my setup, so I'll plan my spot around where you'll stand)

Package two

Ceremony + Cocktail Hour

from $700

  • Everything in the ceremony package
  • A 60–90 minute cocktail-hour set while photos happen
  • Originals and reworked covers, shaped around your list
  • One new song learned for you, included

Add-ons: an extra song learned just for you ($50 each) · extra playing time ($100 per 30 min) · travel beyond the Tri-Cities is quoted per venue.

Hear it first

My sound is a soulful voice over a singing guitar. It’s intimate and a little bit vintage, and I play it clean and quiet enough for vows. My covers draw from Hozier, Leon Bridges, Zach Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Jeff Buckley, The Beatles and Radiohead. If your song isn’t in my book yet, I’ll learn it.

How it works

  1. Reach out with your date, venue and a rough idea of what you’d like. I’ll reply within 24 hours on weekdays.
  2. Talk it through. A short call to sort out timing, the moments that matter and your song list.
  3. Hold the date. A simple written agreement and a 50% deposit lock it in. The balance is due a week before the wedding.
  4. The day of. I arrive early, set up and soundcheck before guests arrive, and follow your coordinator’s or officiant’s cues so the music lands on the right moment.

Good to know

Outdoor and winery weddings? Yes. I play wineries and tasting rooms around the region regularly. I need a shaded spot for the guitar and amp, and access to power.

How much space do you need? About 3 × 3 ft, plus a guitar stand. I set up to the side so I’m never in your photos.

Can you mic our officiant? Yes, through my PA. The mic stays by my setup and I don’t move gear mid-ceremony, so we’ll pick my spot near where your officiant will stand.

Can we pick every song? As many as you like, or just choose the processional and recessional and trust me with the rest.

Do you play receptions? Not dance sets. I’m at my best when people are listening. Cocktail hour is my limit, and I’m glad to point you to a great DJ for the rest of the night.
